IBAs in Manitoba

An Important Bird Area (IBA) is a site providing essential habitat for one or more species of breeding or nonbreeding birds. These sites contain significant numbers of vulnerable, threatened or endangered species, endemic species, species representative of a biome, or concentrations of seabirds, waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds, waders, or migratory land birds.
